GIFTMERIGHT LLC (“Gift Me Right”) understands how important your privacy and the protection of your personal information is to you. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) will help you understand how Gift Me Right collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information.

Please note that we may modify or amend the Privacy Policy from time to time, and you should review this policy periodically to understand how our practices have changed.

By accessing and using the Gift Me Right App, you expressly consent to our collection, use, storage and disclosure of your information and data as described in this Privacy Policy.

When you create an account, access and use the Gift Me Right App, we may collect various kinds of information about you and your use of the Gift Me Right App. Such information consists of information (i) you provide to Gift Me Right about yourself, (ii) collected by our computer system automatically when you access and use the Gift Me Right App, (iii) we obtain from other sources, and (iv) you provide about others.

Information you provide: When you create an account you will be required to provide certain contact information such as your name, email address, mailing address and phone number. We may obtain information about your personal interests and demographic information when you use the Gift Me Right App to create a wish list, or post comments, photos or videos.

Information collected by technology: The Gift Me Right App automatically collects certain information about visits to and use of the Give Me Right App, and technical information about devices and browsers. The tools used to collect this information includes both persistent and session cookies, web beacons, local shared objects, tags, scripts and software development kits. The information collected includes information about your (i) device, computer, browser and operating systems, (ii) your IP address and devices identifiers.

The Gift Me Right App may use browser cookies to collect non-personally identifiable information. Cookies are small text files that are placed on a device that allows Gift Me Right to record how many times a user has visited the Gift Me Right App, the number of times various pages of the site have been accessed and other such information. This data is not used in any way to create or maintain a personal profile of you or to collect personally identifiable information from you.

Information users provide about others: In addition, please note that we also collect information that you provide to us about other people. For example, we may obtain the name and email address of friends, co-workers, family members or others with whom you want to share a wish list you have created. And users may provide information about you that they may post in messages related to a user’s wishlist. Please do not provide any information about others unless you have their consent to do so.

We use the information we collect to provide the features and functions of the Gift Me Right App to you. This includes operating and maintaining the Gift Me Right App, developing and improving the Gift Me Right App, and providing customer assistance and support. We also use the information to communicate with you, including responding to your questions or requests, and sending you informational messages about the Gift Me Right App.

In addition, we use the information to protect our rights and the rights of others. This includes (i) preventing, detecting and responding to misuse of the Gift Me Right App, fraud, intellectual property infringement of other violations of the law; and (ii) performing audits and testing and enhancing system security.

Service Providers: We sometimes engage third parties to provide certain operational services relating to the Gift Me Right App or our computer and communications systems. While performing such services we may disclose your information to those third parties as necessary for the third party to provide those services.

Account Information: When you create a Gift Me Right account you are required to provide your name, as well as certain contact information, and create a username and password. You may elect to update or revise your account information at any time by logging in and editing your account information.

Review, Update or Delete Your Information: You can review and change the information we have about you by emailing us at giftmeright@yahoo.com. In addition, you may request that we delete your information by sending us an email at giftmeright@yahoo.com. Although we will make every effort to delete your information from our electronic databases, we may need to retain your information in our archives and records to comply with law, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and other policies, take other actions otherwise permitted by law, and avoid incurring significant costs that would be required to remove all information about you from all of our archived electronic records.

We maintain procedural, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect your information against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, although we make reasonable efforts to protect your information, no security system, or means of sending information over the internet, is impenetrable. Consequently, we cannot make any guarantees, warranties or representations that your information is completely protected and secure.

The Gift Me Right App is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from a child under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a user under the age of 13 we will delete such information from our records.

The Gift Me Right App may contain links to other websites, whose privacy policies may be different than those stated in this Privacy Policy and are not under the control of Gift Me Right. When you access another site through a link on the Gift Me Right App, the collection and use of any information you provide is governed by the privacy policy of the site you are visiting. You should read the privacy policy of each site you visit through a link on this site.

Gift Me Right does not currently take action to respond to browsers Do Not Track messages because no common industry standard to respond to Do Not Track messages has been developed or adopted by industry groups, technology companies, or regulators.

If you are located outside the United States, please note that the information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where the laws regarding the processing of your personal information may be less stringent than the laws in your country. By using the Gift Me Right App you consent to such transfer and processing.

We will revise and update this Privacy Policy periodically as our practices change, and the most current revised version will be posted on the Gift Me Right App. You agree to regularly review the Privacy Policy as you use the Gift Me Right App so that you are aware of any modifications. By accessing or using the Gift Me Right App, you agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy as posted at the time of your access or use.
